Eagle Scout Commendation Letter Addresses and Examples

When a Scout has finished his Eagle, has submitted the final paperwork to his Council, it is time to start planning the Eagle Court of Honor. It is common for this to be done by the Scout's parents, although some troops plan and execute the Eagle Court of Honor also. Attaining Eagle Scout is recognized at all levels of our society as being a great achievement, requiring dedication and effort. Dignitaries of all sorts will provide letters or certificates of commendation addressed to the Eagle Scout if you request them.

I have refined my list of dignitaries down to a list of people that are reasonably known to reply to requests. Recently I divided these lists into three, as listed below. These files are Microsoft Word Mail Merge data files. You may edit the files and use them as your mail merge data, or extract the names and addresses.

Some good resources for names and addresses:

I will gladly accept corrections, but please DO NOT E-MAIL ME, ASKING FOR ADDITIONAL NAMES. I do not have any others, I will not do research for you, and I am not interested in adding any names to this list.
