Community Service Opportunities

Community service is an essential part of Scouting.  The willingness to serve others is a reflection of Scout Spirit in our every day lives.  On December 10th Scouts and Adults of Troop 257 have two opportunities to serve others.

The first opportunity is assisting Tyler H. with his Eagle project from 8:30am - 1pm. Scouts and Adults interested in helping should contact Tyler directly to get information.

The second opportunity is assisting Atonement Lutheran through the Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries (MLM) Christmas Store at Immanuel Lutheran Church.  We will be meeting in the Atonement Parking Lot at 1pm and should be returning by 5pm.  We still need 4 - 6 Scouts and 1 - 2 Adults to volunteer, for more information or to volunteer please contact Dave Knopick.

In this season of giving thanks what better way can we show how thankful we are for what we have been given then to serve others through these opportunities.
